Familiar and friendly tech help, customized for you

You’re stumped?
Ask me.

An unexpected charge. A convincing caller. A message from a friend who sounds different. I’ll help you look closer, understand what’s happening, and decide your next step.

I’ve been hands-on with technology since childhood. Today, I work with digital strategy, online communities, and AI, and keep up with changes so I’m ready to help you find a straightforward answer.

  • Social media
  • AI
  • Online communities
  • Digital commerce
  • Apple devices

An understanding person to ask, especially when asking family feels hard.

For people I know, with room for a limited number of households each month.

EVERYDAY QUESTIONS. SPECIFIC HELP.

“Should I be worried about this?”

You don’t need proof of a scam to ask. Bring a concern, a confusing message, or something you want to double-check.

01 / UNEXPECTED CHARGES

“I never bought this.”

An email claims you renewed a subscription or placed an order. We’ll review the sender and the claim, then discuss how to verify the purchase through a trusted source.

02 / POLITICAL TEXTS & SPAM

“Who’s texting me?”

A message claims to come from a candidate, campaign, or public figure. We’ll look at the source, donation request, and options for handling unwanted messages. Practical help, regardless of your politics.

03 / PHONE CALLS & AI

“They sounded convincing.”

A caller claims to be your bank, tech support, or someone you know. We’ll discuss verification and how AI-generated voices, images, and video complicate deciding whom to trust.

04 / FAMILIAR NAMES, ODD REQUESTS

“Is this from my friend?”

An email from someone you know asks for money, a code, or an unusual favor. We’ll look for signs of impersonation or a compromised account and discuss confirming with the person another way.

05 / SOCIAL MEDIA SCAMS

“Is this account genuine?”

A duplicate profile, a giveaway, a marketplace offer, or a private message. We’ll examine what’s being claimed and requested before you respond or share personal information.

06 / ALGORITHMS & YOUR FEED

“Why am I seeing so much of this?”

Talk through recommendations, targeted ads, and your online “bubble.” Understand how your feed is selected, review available controls, and find ways to compare other sources.

Rather ask someone outside the family?

If asking your kids or family feels uncomfortable, bring your question to me. You don’t need to apologize, know the right words, or worry about asking again.

Already clicked, replied, or shared something? Start wherever you are. No judgment. No lecture. We’ll focus on what to do next, at your pace.

AND YES, EVERYDAY TECH HELP TOO

Mac, iPhone, iPad. And the questions around them.

Setup, photos, iCloud, backups, confusing settings, and buying advice. The same personal help when your device needs attention.

PERSONAL BY DESIGN

A relationship comes first.

This service is for people I have a relationship with. Knowing you and your situation helps me offer useful advice. We’ll talk first to confirm whether we’re a good fit.

I work with a limited number of people each month so I have time to give each household personal attention. Both membership and one-time help depend on fit and availability.

Why I’m doing this: I enjoy helping people with technology, and this work helps me put more money toward my kids’ upcoming college expenses. Useful help for your household, meaningful support for mine.
